Black Condor - Colombia Washed
Black Condor - Colombia Washed
Black Condor is a testament to resilience and collaboration, emerging from the Black Condor Project initiated in 2019 by Forest Coffee and Emmanuel Enciso. This initiative supports farmers in Gaitania, Tolima—a region historically impacted by conflict—by providing workshops on quality processes such as fermentation, drying, and cupping, leading to the creation of this exquisite coffee.
This washed-process coffee, cultivated at elevations between 1,650 and 1,950 meters, is a harmonious blend of Caturra and Castillo varietals. In the cup, it reveals delightful notes of almond, caramel, and red fruits, complemented by the natural sweetness of panela. Its balanced acidity and medium body make it a versatile choice for various brewing methods, offering a rich and satisfying experience that reflects the dedication and expertise of its producers.
